NJ Donate Soccer Equipment
If you love to play soccer, you can donate soccer equipment to various nonprofit organizations
in New Jersey. A few of them are Let’s Play It Forward, Manalapan Soccer Club, Peace
Passers, and Watchung Hills Soccer Association. The Watchung Hills Soccer Association is
making the state of New Jersey proud by collecting soccer equipment for Brazil. If you’d like to
donate to these organizations, you can check out their websites.
Let’s Play It Forward
Donate used sports equipment to help children in need. Let’s Play It Forward is a nonprofit
organization that collects used sports equipment and distributes it to local groups and
organizations. Find out how you can donate or team up with a local group to take part in a
service project. For more information, visit the website to donate sports equipment or find out
more about how you can help. If you don’t have any sports equipment to donate, contact the
organization to inquire about the specific needs.
Donate gently used hockey equipment. The New York Islanders will be hosting a hockey
equipment drive to benefit the nonprofit organization Let’s Play It Forward. Fans can donate
gently used hockey equipment outside of the Barclays Center Box Office starting at 11AM on
March 27. Anyone who donates three or more pieces of equipment will receive a voucher for a
game on March 27. You can also donate used equipment to other nonprofits through this
program.
Manalapan Soccer Club
Are you interested in giving a loved one a new pair of soccer cleats? Donate gently used
soccer equipment to the Manalapan Youth Soccer Club in NJ! These young athletes play
soccer at the Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association (MASA) as part of the club’s recreational
program. The club participates in a number of different leagues, including MAPS, JAGS, and
EDP.
Donate equipment to the Manalapan Soccer Club today! Currently, the club has travel teams
and recreation teams with over 1600 children. The club has hosted 34 Memorial Day
Tournaments since it was established in 1977. There are many ways that you can help!
Consider donating soccer equipment to help children learn the game and improve their skills.
By donating to the Manalapan Soccer Club, you’ll help provide the necessary soccer
equipment to make our local team better.
Watchung Hills Soccer Association
New Jersey is proud of the Watchung Hills Soccer Association for their efforts in donating
soccer equipment to Brazil. The WHSA is a not-for-profit organization that hosts a dinner
dance each year to raise funds to purchase new soccer equipment and build lighting on the
fields. It also holds an annual tournament to raise money for the organization’s activities.
These funds are then used to purchase equipment for the local community, including soccer
balls, uniforms, and other gear.
For the spring season, the Watchung Hills Soccer Association selects its players from the
Watchung Hills Regional High School soccer program or the previous WHSA Division 3 level.
While returning players may be eligible to play on their previous team, there is no guarantee
that they will be accepted on the current team. There may be multiple teams in each age
group, but these must receive Board approval. To be eligible for a WHSA Division 1 or 2 team,
players must be at least 7 years old and have a valid NJSYSA player pass.
Interested players should contact the Watchung Hills Soccer Association for more information
about joining the organization. Membership fees help the association maintain a soccer field
and fund team training. The Watchung Hills Soccer Association also collects soccer equipment
from other sources. In addition to soccer gear, the WHSSA donates soccer balls, training mats,
and other equipment to the local community. As a member of the WHSSA, you can participate
in our recreational soccer program by donating gently used equipment.
Peace Passers
Peace Passers is a nonprofit that collects and distributes soccer equipment to children in need
throughout the world. Through the Sports Shed program, they provide inner-city children with a
positive alternative to violence. To donate your soccer gear, you can drop it off at one of their
four stores in the Chicago area. For those of you who are unable to drop off your soccer
equipment, you can send your used bike to Peace Passers through a bike shop partner or a
scheduled collection event. A donation of $10 is required to ship your donated bicycle to a
charity in another country. Through their mission to help children in need through sports and
health, Peace Passers is an excellent choice for your donation of soccer gear.
For those of you who are unable to donate soccer gear, Peace Passers is an organization that
will make the process as easy as possible. By donating your soccer gear, you will be helping
disadvantaged children and youth develop their physical and mental skills. The organization
also helps you organize a fundraising event to purchase new gear for a team. In addition to
donating your soccer gear, you can organize fundraisers to support the cause and request
gear for your community.
Peace Passers also accepts gently used soccer equipment, such as balls, cleats, and
uniforms. These donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of the money goes to helping the
kids. You can also donate gently-used office supplies, such as pens and pencils. You can also
donate used baseball gear to organizations such as Pitch In For Baseball or Bunkers in
Baghdad. In addition, the organization uses old golf equipment to teach new generations to
play the sport.
Leveling the Playing Field
One of the best ways to provide underprivileged children with access to quality soccer
equipment is to donate it. Donated soccer equipment is a great way to support this nonprofit
organization that offers soccer goals and equipment for underserved communities. These
donations are necessary because participation in athletics is linked to higher grades, higher
attendance rates, and better test scores. Whether you’re looking to donate soccer equipment
or other sports equipment, this nonprofit has you covered.
The nonprofit organization was started by Max Levitt in 2013 to address the growing inequity
in youth sports programs. It does so by redistributing donated goods to programs in need.
Since it started, the nonprofit has helped local sports programs and schools expand their
capacity. Similarly to other nonprofits, Leveling the Playing Field runs a robust volunteer
program to help local organizations in need. The goal is to create multiple locations nationwide
by the end of 2016.
The charity’s donation drive is in March, but any type of sports equipment can help. Several
local organizations are collecting donated soccer equipment. The Virginia Union FC ECNL
team is partnering with Leveling the Playing Field for this effort. The organization collects new
or gently used soccer equipment, as well as protective padding. Other sports equipment that
will be of great help to the nonprofit include baseball helmets, soccer socks, and field hockey
sticks.
In addition to donating soccer equipment to local youth organizations, Leveling the Playing
Field also works with several other non-profit groups to help underprivileged children play
soccer. The Boys and Girls Club of Baltimore is one organization that benefits from donated
soccer equipment. The organization serves six clubs across the metropolitan area, and their
efforts will benefit many local youth organizations. The donations will provide youth with the
opportunity to learn valuable life lessons through sports and physical activity.
